    • Sound of musicals dance workshop

      On Monday 15th May, year 5 were very excited to be taking part in our dance workshop.  The theme was musicals, particularly music from the film ‘The Greatest Showman’ – we have already watched this as our experience day before completing our writing unit on ‘The Peculiars’.

      On Wednesday 3 May we hosted our second careers afternoon for children in year 5. We had visitors from a wide range of professions to talk to the children about the different jobs they did.

      Yesterday, the year 5 children ventured to London for their trip to KidZania where they were given the opportunity to experience a vast range of different careers (earning KidZo currency along the way) some of which included: firefighting, radio presenting, graphic designing, news reporting and many more.

    • Easter cracked

    • Recycling workshops

      The children loved the plastic talk provided by Sandra from the Milton Keynes City Council who was very well informed about not just Milton Keynes' recycling processes but the global impact of plastic pollution. All questions were considered, the children have fed back that they felt heard and that they were given valid answers.

    • Japan week

      The children in school this week, enjoyed a very different timetable, learning all about Japan. From using an atlas to find out where in the world Japan is located to making a traditional Koi carp windsock, lots of fun was had by all! Anime and Manga style drawing were enjoyed by many and we were impressed with the children’s quick grasp of Haikus.
