Last week in year 6, the children delved into the history of the Battle of Dunkirk. They learnt about the various roles involved in this famous World War II battle and even had the opportunity to re-enact it out on the playground. The children played their parts with such passion that they were able to understand how the different roles might have shaped the viewpoints of the Allied and Axis forces.
