PE & Sports Enrichment – Pupil Voice
We have been absolutely delighted with the response to our recent PE and Sports Enrichment Pupil Voice surveys!
We asked children across Years 3–6 to tell us what they really think about PE at Loughton School, what they enjoy, what they would like to change and most importantly what new sports and activities they would love to try.
The response has been fantastic, and it has been lovely to see how much thought the children have put into their answers.
What Our Children Told Us
It has been really encouraging to read the children's feedback about their PE lessons. There are lots of positive comments, and it's clear that many of our children really enjoy being active and taking part in sport.
One of our favourite parts of the survey has been seeing the children's choices for future sports and enrichment activities. We've had interest in everything from modern dance and badminton to yoga, cheerleading, volleyball golf and pickleball. It's been great to see children thinking beyond the sports they already know and showing an interest in trying something different.
What Happens Next?
The most important part of pupil voice is making sure we actually do something with what the children tell us.
We’ll be looking carefully at their suggestions and using the feedback to help plan our future PE lessons, lunchtime activities and sports clubs. Of course, we won't be able to introduce every activity straight away, but we want the children to see that their ideas have been listened to and that they really can make a difference.
A Huge Thank You!
We are so pleased with how the children have embraced this opportunity. They've been honest, thoughtful and full of ideas, and it's been a real pleasure reading their responses, after all, who better to tell us what makes PE enjoyable than the children themselves! We’re really looking forward to seeing how we can build on their ideas and continue making PE and sport at Loughton School something every child can enjoy and feel part of.
